A newly mounted taxidermy gouldian finch, perched on peeled ivy, set amongst a delicate handmade habitat desert world. Situated on top a handmade wooden base, designed by me.
Delighted to say that this piece scored 71/100 in the annual U.K. Guild of Taxidermists compeition, placing third in professional. It also earned a credit. This is my first ever podium finish in professional categoy, having only entered for the first time this year.
